Landscaper Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hardworking Landscaper to join our team for a company based in Houston, Texas . The primary responsibilities include operating a Zero Turn Machine for lawn maintenance, cutting grass, picking up trash, and performing general labor tasks to maintain the appearance and safety of the grounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay Rate
$16.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Landscaper Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate Zero Turn Machine to mow grass and maintain lawn areas according to company standards.
• Ensure proper care and routine maintenance of the Zero Turn Machine and other landscaping equipment.
• Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and other waste materials from the grounds.
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of all outdoor spaces, including lawns, walkways, and parking areas.
•Assist with general landscaping tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and trimming as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any hazards, damages, or safety concerns to the Grounds Supervisor immediately.
• Work effectively with other team members to complete landscaping projects and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with the Grounds Supervisor about any issues or improvements needed on the job.
Landscaper Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.
• Familiarity with operating a Zero Turn Machine and other landscaping equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
