Legal Assistant
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Legal Assistant for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of administrative and organizational support, including managing documents, handling client communications, and assisting the legal team to ensure efficient office workflow within the law firm.
Pay Rate
$12 - $14 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Legal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
• Will read, request, review, and summarize medical and public records
• Handle subpoena records

• Organize and maintain case files, legal documents and client records.
• Manage schedules, appointments and court dates
• Respond and relay to client inquiries and messages

Legal Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
• Adept clerical, administrative skills required along with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• No prior legal experience required but is preferred
