Machine Adjuster
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machine Adjuster for a well-respected firearms manufacturer based in Smyrna, GA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for setting and adjusting key machinery and ensuring the manufacturing process is in line with the company’s best practices and production goals.
Pay Rate
$21.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Mondays-Fridays
3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am Sunday-Thursday
Machine Adjuster Duties and Responsibilities
- Adjust machine settings and tools based on part measurements, ensuring dimensional conformity.
- Review blueprints and measurement reports for product conformity, making necessary corrections.
- Set up packaging and filling equipment according to product specifications.
- Perform machine re-works, preventative maintenance, and address breakdowns for equipment reliability.
- Maintain daily documentation of quantities and records of operations, including deburring parts with hand tools.
- Conduct visual inspections, train associates, assist with operator training, identify bottlenecks, and communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure product quality and safety compliance.
Machine Adjuster Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years CNC and metal machinery experience.
- Prior experience with GD&T and G&M code highly preferred.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Drug screening, background check, and lifting assessments required.
