CNC Integrex Machinist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Quality CNC Integrex Machinist for a company based in North Houston, Tx.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, Night 12 hours shifts
Direct Hire 
 
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to program, set up, operate and run Mazak Integrex 5 axis CNC Machine using Mazatrol and/or G code program from a drawing which includes a solid understanding of GD&T with little supervision
• Operate machinery and equipment safely
• Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain a clean and safe work area
• Notify supervisory personnel if a nonconforming condition is disclosed
• Tool proofing of first run jobs and give feedback to programming to ensure run efficiency and accuracy
• Set controls of feed, speed, depth of cut without supervision
• Understand and apply optimal work holding techniques
• Work with other operators as required to ensure optimum set up
• Analyze and solve manufacturing problems with a high level of skill
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures established by the company
• Be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and/or calipers
• Be able to identify non-conforming parts using precision measuring instruments
• Must be able to set tooling and apply offsets
• Using tooling and material data the employee must be able to calculate surface footage to machine components
 
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• Must have at least 5 years of experience operating and programming a Mazak Integrex 5-axis CNC Machine
• API threading experience preferred
• Set up, adjust, and operate all tools and many specialized or custom tools to perform precision machining operations on Mazak Integrex Turning and Milling Centers
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to use and understand gauges, tape measures and electroplating thickness auges.
• Previous experience in quality control or inspection functions is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry specific regulations and quality control standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs and lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by production schedules.
• Preferably bilingual Spanish/English
