Maintenance Technician III
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Technician III for a company based in North Houston Texas. As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be a senior member of the maintenance team and will have extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of systems and equipment. In addition to performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks, you will take a leadership role in coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities.
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.00 (DOE)
Schedule
Monday through Friday 6:30 am 3:00pm
Overtime: may be required
Maintenance Technician III Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate advanced expertise and experience in maintenance and repair tasks.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Conduct in-depth inspections and analysis to identify rood cause of equipment failures.
• Installs programs, troubleshoots, and repairs programmable logic controller (PLC).
• Perform electrical wiring from low voltage through 480-volt 3 phase industrial systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician team members.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
Maintenance Technician III Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, mechanical maintenance), or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
• Journeyman electrical license is a plus.
• Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of complex machinery and systems.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced maintenance techniques, including predictive and condition-based maintenance.
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for diagnosing and repairing complex issues.
• Experience managing maintenance projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and train junior technicians.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
