Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for a company based in Houston, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for keeping the machine running during your shift and producing items that meet the stablished specifications while also focusing on Safety, Quality and Housekeeping.

Monday- Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Interacts with production employees, QA, and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality, and safety
• Utilizes process improvement techniques, tools, and procedures
• Maximizes performance of machinery: Troubleshoots equipment problems, makes changes, and all plant equipment
• Reads blueprints and technical manuals
• Assists with efficient equipment changes and mold changes to accommodate production needs
• Utilize preventative maintenance program to maintain and prevent failure of equipment
• Produce quality product through tight monitoring of process, raw materials, and finished products
• Preserve plant equipment through proper cleaning and maintaining
• Records, documents, and reports various data
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Good manual dexterity and concentration
• Can reach within hands and arm’s length, bend and stoop, walk, and stand consistently for long periods of time
• Can lift up to 50 lbs
• Can withstand manufacturing working conditions
• Can work in small/confined spaces
• 1 – 3 yrs. of related experience
• Basic ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Basic PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required
