Helicopter Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Helicopter Maintenance Technician for a company based in North Houston
Pay Rate
$25-$35 per hour (Depends on experience)
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Punctuality and reliability is a MUST)
Helicopter Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• ensure that timely and appropriate maintenance is provided for all aircraft, to guarantee safe operations and compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• All duties are to be performed in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM requirements and HSI policies, practices, and procedures.
• Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries for any maintenance performed.
• Maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all components while in service or while undergoing scheduled overhaul maintenance.
• Ability to keep aircraft and work areas at the highest standards and assure the shop/work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner.
Helicopter Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.
• Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 60 pounds
• Be able to access all parts of the aircraft
• Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements
• High school Diploma, GED certificate
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license or ability to obtain
• Five years of aviation/avionics maintenance experience
• Valid automobile driver’s license
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, in addition to maintenance tracking programs
