Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Manual Machinist for a company based in Louisa, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to perform machining operations, such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.

Pay Rate
$25.00-$30 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Manual Machinist Duties and Responsibilities
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements
• Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as needed to maintain quality and accuracy
• Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each machining job
• Set up and machine parts using manual lathes and milling machines

• Strong knowledge of manual machining techniques, tools, and equipment
