Mark Andy Press Operators
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Mark Andy Press Operators for a printing company based in Marietta, GA. We’re looking for skilled press operators who are passionate about precision and producing high-quality printed materials. In this role, you’ll be operating advanced printing machinery, mixing inks, ensuring every detail meets top-notch standards, and other related job duties.
Pay Rate
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Two Shift Options Available!
Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
Mark Andy Press Operators Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate flexographic printing presses to produce materials per job specs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Mix and adjust inks, monitoring viscosity for consistent print quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any mechanical or print issues.
- Inspect print quality and verify color, registration, and specs meet customer standards.
- Record production data, including setup details and materials used.
- Use slitter rewinders to convert stock rolls, and package finished goods neatly.
- Remove finished rolls from presses and clean ink pans after jobs.
- Collaborate with supervisors and quality control to meet deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Mark Andy Press Operators Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience operating Mark Andy P Series Flexographic Presses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to help others on the team as needed
- Drug screening and background checks are required.
