MECHANIC
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a dependable and experienced Mechanic for a well-known equipment rental company located in Memphis. For this role, you will primarily be working on a wide selection of equipment, including heavy earth-moving machinery, agricultural tools, generators, and air compressors just to name a few. We are seeking mechanics with 2-5 years of experience working on an array of machinery, including automobiles. Pay Rate
$17.00-23.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspections and servicing of rental equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and execute repairs on various types of equipment, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Keep track of spare parts and tools, ordering replacements as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
• Record maintenance and repair activities in detail, including parts used and hours worked, for inventory and billing purposes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring that all equipment meets industry standards and is safe for rental use.
Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
• 2-5 years of experience as a working mechanic, including automobiles
• Steel-toed boots required
• Must have own tools
• Drug and background check required
