Hourly Rate: $14-$18/h
Schedule: M-F, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Job Summary: Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Metal Finisher for a local fabrication company. This role involves preparing metal parts by grinding, sanding, cleaning, polishing, trimming, and deburring to correct defects and meet finish specifications. We are willing to train candidates with strong experience using hand tools. The ideal candidate will follow blueprints, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grind, sand, clean, polish, trim, and deburr metal parts to correct defects and prepare surfaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specific finish requirements.
- Assemble items and components as directed by supervisors.
- Ensure all work meets established quality standards and inspection criteria.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ISO and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with hand tools (training provided for candidates with strong general hand tool skills).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as needed.
