New Model Engineer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a New Model Engineer for a company based in Selma, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to Interpret, organize, execute and audit progress of broad and complex projects and problems. Defines root cause and effect and uses advanced techniques and theories in field of expertise. Develops solutions, analyze projects with the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
Pay Rate
$60K+ Salary (DOE)
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
New Model Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducts experiments and tests on existing designs and equipment to obtain data on function of and performance of equipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
•Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Design software; Development software; Internet software and Spreadsheet software.
New Model Qualifications and Requirements
• Background and Drug testing is required.
• Experience with Engineering.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Attention to detail.
• 50-lb lifting capability throughout shift. (Lifting assessment to be given in the office)
• Proper unexpired documentation required to complete the Federal I-9 process.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
