NIGHT SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking Night Shift Material Handler for a manufacturing company located in Ringgold, GA. In this role, you will conduct assembly operations, drilling, measuring, and material handling. All positions are full-time temporary to hire.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Shift and Schedules
6:00pm-4:45am Monday-Thursday and overtime Friday
Night Shift Material Handler Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up and operate grinding or polishing machines to grind metal workpieces
• File or finish surfaces of workpieces, using prescribed hand tools.
• Perform basic maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating machine parts.
• Attach workpieces to grinding machines and form specified sections and repair cracks, using welding or brazing equipment.
• Straighten workpieces and remove dents, using straightening presses and hammers.
• Clean, lubricate, maintain, and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation, using air hoses, cleaning fluids, and hand tools.
Night Shift Material Handler Job Requirements and Qualifications
• Must read calipers and tape measure to 1/16th
• Previous Grinding experience is preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Lift 50lbs throughout workday (in office lifting assessment will be completed)
• Experience with machine operating is required
• Great work history and work ethic
