Job Description
Order Picker / Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Order Picker/ Forklift associate for a company based in Houston, Tx. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as order picking, operating Electric Pallet jack and Sit-Down Forklift. Other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 10:00pm
Some Saturdays
Order Puller/Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull orders accurately
- Operate sit-down forklift
- Operate electric pallet jack
- Follow workplace safety standards.
- Must be able to meet hourly production goals
Order Puller/Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Clean Criminal Background Check
- Stand and walk throughout shifts
- Must be able to lift 20-50 Lbs. (assessment administered in office)
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
