Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Order Picker a company based in Birmingham AL. In this role, we are looking for an Order Selector. Pay Range
$18 hourly.
Schedule and Hours
M-F 8am-5pm
Order Picker Duties and Responsibilities
- MUST PULL PRODUCTS BY ITEM
- Accurately select products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and Cherry Picker to retrieve items.
- Handle products with care to avoid damage
- Stage pallets for loading at proper dock locations.
- Follow all safety policies and protocols as directed by company
- Moving at a constant pace while keeping warehouse clean
- Other duties as required
- Knowledge of warehouse terminology
Order Picker Qualifications and Requirements
- RF Scanner knowledge required
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately read and interpret order lists and select items correctly.
- Physical Stamina: Capability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- High school Diploma or GED required
- 1 Year warehouse experience REQUIRED (3+ years preferred)
