ORDER PICKER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Order Pickers for a catalog distribution company in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will be expected to pull customer orders correctly using a handheld barcode scanning system and prepare for shipping.
Qualified Candidates MUST have a longevity of 2-plus years of experience in a warehouse or equivalent.
Pay Rate
A shift: $15.50 per hour PLUS a biweekly productivity bonus up to $5 more an hour
B shift: $16.00 per hour PLUS a biweekly productivity bonus up to $5 more an hour
Schedule and Hours
All shifts currently working 12-hour days 5-days a week
A shift: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday-Friday (regular schedule 7:00am-4:00pm)
B shift: 9:00 am- 9:00 pm Monday-Friday (regular schedule 10:00am-7:00pm)
Order Picker Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Pull orders on each batch
• Ability to walk a lot
• Scan merchandise with a hand scanner
• Stock shelves when needed
• Inventory checks
• Assure that all orders are pulled correctly
Order Picker Job Qualifications and Requirements
• Standing, walking & moving about consistently
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• Required to lift 50lbs
• Pay close attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED
• Clear Background Check and Drug Screen Required
• MUST have 2-3 years of related experience in one job to be considered
