Order Selector Electric Rider Pallet Jack
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Order Selectors for a company based in Lakeland, FL. In this fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple departments and gain valuable knowledge.
Pay Rate
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on experience and shift.
Bonus pay is offered based on production after the probationary period.
Schedule and Hours
1st shift is Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 06:30 PM
2nd shift is Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Order Selector Electric Rider Pallet Jack Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize picking lists or handheld devices to accurately locate and pick cases of merchandise from warehouse shelves.
- Ensure that the correct quantity and type of product is picked and prepared for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to transport picked cases to designated staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and procedures at all times.
- Assist in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
Order Selector Electric Rider Pallet Jack Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as an order picker or similar role in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift 50 pounds consistently.
