ORDER SELECTORS
Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Order Selectors to join a dynamic team located in Bessemer, Alabama. In this family-run business, with growth potential, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge that will help you advance your career.
Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
2nd Shift- 12-10 hours per day
2:30pm-2:00am or when work is complete. Order Selectors will work weekends as part of their regular 5-day work schedule with rotating weekends off.
Order Selectors Duties and Responsibilities
• Work in extreme temperature conditions is required. Temperatures in Perishables Frozen Foods range from 51 degrees to -20 degrees.
• Manage inventory, order status, and raw material quantity based on seasonal trends and other sales factors.
• Loading boxes onto pallets to be shipped out.
• Maintain all required records and reports
• Communicate with vendors regarding any problems or issues with materials, delivery status, etc.
Order Selectors Qualifications and Requirements
• Stand for long periods of time, perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, twisting.
• Ability to work under a production quota system. Freezer Selectors must be able to pull an average of 185 cases per hour by the end of their 90-day probation period, and thereafter.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast paced, physically demanding job.
• In office lifting and palletizing assessment will be conducted with the requirement of 50 pounds and timed 1 ½ minutes
