Packaging Department Team Lead
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Packaging Department Team Lead for a company based in Largo, FL In this role, you will primarily be responsible for leading and directing packaging operators on daily tasks. Operate production equipment according to GMP’s, SOP’s, and safety requirements.
Pay Rate
$16.00 - $18 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday through Thursday, 2:45 pm to 12:45 am.
Packaging Department Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists Supervisor in reporting, assigning team members to rooms and answering questions/calls.
- Drive the overall performance of the packaging room/area to meet production schedule expectations.
- Delivers systematic explanations of the manufacturing, cleaning and setup processes.
- Be a role model and have leadership abilities to motivate, develop and encourage packaging Team members.
- Responsible for attending Redzone huddles. Must be able to start up room according to Batch record and Redzone.
- Lead and participate in all line changeover activities including equipment changes.
Packaging Department Team Lead Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in Packaging Manufacturing
- Proven experience with Pallet Jack Operation, Machinery Skills
- Proficiency of computer skills to include; MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
