PACKER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several experienced Packers for a catalog fulfillment company in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of preparing and processing packages and labels for warehouse functions. Positions have temporary to hire opportunity based on performance over 90 days.
Qualified Candidates MUST have a longevity of 1-plus years of experience in a warehouse or equivalent.
Pay Rate and Bonus:
B shift: $16.50 per hour PLUS a biweekly productivity bonus up to $5 more an hour
Bonus: Attendance and performance must be in good standing to receive
$50 bonus at 30 days
$100 bonus at 90 days
Schedule and Hours
Currently working 12-hour days 5-days a week
B shift: 4:00 pm- 4:00 am Monday-Friday (regular schedule 4:00pm-1:00am)
Packer Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify that the order is correct
- Package shipment according to company standards
- Verify shipping labels are accurate
- Load trucks in a timely manner
- Restock shipping supplies in stalls
- Keep area clean and safe by moving cardboard boxes to compactor and entire area free of all trash
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Packer Job Qualifications and Requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Current forklift certification a plus
• Previous warehouse experience required
• Standing, walking & moving about consistently
• Lift 50lbs during workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED
• Background Check and Drug Screen Required
