Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Pipe Fitter a company based in Birmingham AL. In this role Pipe Fitter role we is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in various environments.
Pay Range
$27-30 hourly.
Schedule and Hours
M-F 7:30am – 5pm
Pipe Fitter Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools or machinery.
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, or other methods.
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and job specifications to determine work requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, welders, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
Pipe Fitter Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools required for pipe fitting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
