PIPEFITTER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Pipefitter for a company based in Lawrenceville, Georgia. In this role, you’ll be a key part of a team at a leading manufacturer of pumps, mixers, strainers, filters, tanks, heat transfer products and other related equipment. You will responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that carry liquids, gases, and other materials. You’ll work with various materials, such as steel, copper, and plastic, to ensure these systems are functioning smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will include reading blueprints and technical drawings, measuring and cutting pipes to size, and ensuring that everything is installed according to code. You’ll also troubleshoot existing systems, fix leaks, and perform routine maintenance to keep everything running safely.
Pay Rate
$22 00
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 7 00 AM to 4 00 PM
Pipefitter Duties and Responsibilities
• Install and Assemble Piping Systems
• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of piping systems
• Use tools like pipe cutters, threading machines, welding equipment, and cutting torches to fabricate pipes and fittings
• Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, and visual inspections of installed pipes and systems
• Perform routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure functionality and prevent breakdowns
Pipefitter Qualifications and Requirements
• Prior experience in related field
• Forklift Experience preferred
• Proficiency in pipefitting techniques, welding, and cutting
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• A high school diploma or equivalent
