Job Description

Process Engineer 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Process Engineer for a company based in DaltonGa. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to ensure production meets deadlines and ensure quality of product is up to customer’s standards. 

Pay Rate 
$20-25 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 7AM-3:30PM.

Process Engineer Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Accurately process orders in the ERP system, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date.
  • Ensure all orders comply with fabrication standards and requirements.
  • Review and analyze current fabrication processes for jobs in ERP system to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Review and analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand product requirements and specifications.
  • Communicate any changes in processes or specifications to relevant departments promptly as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout the fabrication process.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any process-related issues that arise.
  • Review product specifications to ensure they are compatible with our fabrication capabilities
  • Successfully release work orders to the shop floor using the ERP system and effectively communicate with the appropriate team members.
  • Verify that labor and material quantities align with product specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records within the ERP system.
  • Effectively communicate order details and requirements to the appropriate team members.
  • Provide timely updates on order status and any changes to the relevant departments.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and address any concerns.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all order processing and release procedures.
Assembly Lead Qualifications and Requirements 
• Metal shop/fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings with the ability to detect mistakes
• Experience with ERP systems, Global Shop Solutions is preferred 
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
