Process Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Process Technician for a company based in Houston, Tx. In this role, you will be responsible for blow/injection molding along with assisting in the decoration process and installation side, start up. Troubleshooting, repair and equipment changeovers in a fast pace environment.
Pay Rate
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depends on experience)
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am
Process Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform setup, startup, diagnosis and troubleshooting of the Blow/ Injection molding presses, all auxiliary equipment and all secondary production equipment
• Responsible for maintaining ISO, OSHA, and GMP standards
• Maintain and perform repairs on all types of industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic and mechanical
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment parts.
• Install and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
• Maintain records of repairs preformed
Process Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Must have 4+ years of set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of at least one of the following processes: Stretch Blow, Extrusion Blow, Injection Blow Molding and support equipment
• Must have strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and electrical systems
• Experience with lock out/tag out procedures
• Self-motivated and flexible to schedule assignments changes
• Able to work overtime as necessary and based on production/maintenance needs and demands
• Attend all required training sessions and team meetings
• Background check and drug screen required
