Production Manager: Large Format
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Production Manager: Large Format for a visual merchandise company based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of at least 20 members including supervisors, leads, and production, and collaborate with the Production Leadership Team to train staff in safe, efficient machine setup, inventory management, and process optimization. You will also manage variable costs, minimizing waste, and ensuring team effectiveness. You will assess resource needs, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and oversee training on new equipment. Additionally, you will handle performance reviews, emphasizing staff development, employee engagement, and disciplinary actions as needed. Must have at least three years of Online Large Format (Wide-Format) experience.
Salary
$75,000-85,000 annually. Relocation expense allocation feasible by the company.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:45AM am to 3:15PM
Production Manager: Large Format Duties and Responsibilities
• Motivate, mentor, and train employees for professional growth and a safe, inclusive environment.
• Set performance expectations, providing both positive and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Production and Assembly Leads to prioritize and direct workflow.
• Ensure high-quality standards and monitor assembly/machine throughput.
• Oversee supply levels and monitor work order issues/receipts.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Provide cost/benefit analysis for new equipment and ensure proper training.
• Troubleshoot production issues to maintain productivity and quality.
Production Manager: Large Format Qualifications & Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in the printing industry as a Production or Assembly Lead/Manager.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and possess color vision for quality checks.
• Read measurements to 1/16th inch and use manual dexterity for equipment operation.
• Move around the plant frequently throughout the day.
