Production Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Production Operators offering great growth opportunities with an international panel manufacturing facility based in Canton, GA. This company is looking for go getting, optimistic associates that they can promote from within to join their rapidly growing company. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as product manufacturing, picking and pulling, palletizing, and other related duties.
Pay Rate:
$18.00/per hour.
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
Production Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the production of manufactured products using filling machines, capping machines, labeling machines, and lot coders ensuring each product is assembled correctly and ready for shipment.
- Sort and palletize materials for production and finished products.
- Operate shrink wrapping machine to band pallets for shipments.
- Operate forklifts to pick and pull materials and products to be used for manufacturing.
- Other duties as assigned and cross train in other departments to gain skills needed for promotions.
- Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
Production Operator Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with assembly or kitting in a manufacturing environment
- Previous forklift and shrink-wrapping machine experience required
- Experience with measurement tools including tape measures using metric measurements.
- Drug screening and background checks are required.
- Lifting assessment is required.
