PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Production Supervisor for a company based in Tampa, FL near Oldsmar. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a fast-growing manufacturer of dietary supplements.
Pay Rate
$21.50 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Production Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor and adjust production processes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to address production issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance, efficiency, and other key metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues that arise.
Production Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the dietary supplement industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to dietary supplement manufacturing is a plus.
