PROJECT ASSISTANT
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Project Assistant for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for supporting the execution and administration of manufacturing projects by coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to company standards and deadlines.

Pay Rate
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Project Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
• Serve as the key administrative link between project teams, manufacturing personnel, and stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist Project Managers in planning and tracking project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and activities.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and recording minutes.
• Ensure all projects comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, and status updates.
• Perform administrative duties such as managing calendars, filing, and maintaining project records.
• Acquire and prepare submittal finish samples for new projects. Training will be provided

Project Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
• Two or more years’ of experience in project administration or coordination, in manufacturing or construction preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or higher is required. Associate degree in Business Administration or Project Management preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of general office equipment.
• Two or more years’ of experience in project administration or coordination, in manufacturing or construction preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or higher is required. Associate degree in Business Administration or Project Management preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
