Job Description

Quality Control Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Quality Control Inspector for a company based in North Houston, Tx.

Pay Rate
$22-$24 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm 
 
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspect products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Resolve quality related issues as they arise and prevent shipment of defective products.
• Perform thorough inspections of finished products to identify potential defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Communicate with production teams to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action plans.
• Create and maintain inspection records and reports to track quality metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the production process.
• Stay abreast of the latest quality control standards and industry regulations to ensure compliance.
 
 
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing NDT Level I and II inspections.
• Certifications in quality control or quality management, such as NDT or AWS, are preferred.
• Able to read and understand blueprints in both inch and metric.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Working with stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum.
• Knowledge of welding symbols (MIG, TIG).
• Must be able to use and understand gauges, tape measures and electroplating thickness auges.
• Previous experience in quality control or inspection functions is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry specific regulations and quality control standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs and lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by production schedules.
• Preferably bilingual Spanish/English
