QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor for a company based in Tampa, FL near Oldsmar. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a fast-growing manufacturer of dietary supplements.
Pay Rate
$22.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Quality Control Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the quality control team, including training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Oversee and coordinate routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quality control activities, including test results, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with production, and other departments to address quality-related concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to senior management.
Quality Control Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Supervisor or similar role in the dietary supplement or related manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Experience with quality management systems and tools (e.g., CAPA, root cause analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to dietary supplement manufacturing is a plus.
