Quality Control
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Quality Control for a company based in North Houston
Pay Rate
$24.00 per hour (Depends on experience)
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Quality Control Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform incoming and outgoing product order inspections.
• Pull Overview drawings for sales and customer requests, as needed.
• Move NCRed product to NCR holding area w/ forklifts.
• Once trained, help with technical questions for sales and customers as needed, help with employee product training and with container count & product review questions from the Supply Chain department and Pricing department, as per sales orders.
• Help in testing lab with fabrication of testing fixtures and testing of product, as needed
• Enter newly developed products into ERP system and new part number.
• Assist in planning, conducting, and monitoring testing of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
Quality Control Qualifications and Requirements
• 3 – 5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment is REQUIRED.
• Metal fabrication is a plus.
• Must be able to transition from a very slow-paced work environment to a very fast-paced work environment in a matter of hours.
• Heavy Forklift experience required.
• Computer knowledge with Outlook, Excel, and Teams is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Powder Coating process and Hot Dip Galvanized process.
• Knowledge base for quality analysis of industrial equipment is required.
