Quality Systems Engineer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Quality Systems Engineer for a company based in Woodstock, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for creating, developing and supporting all quality elements of new component development and series improvements on injection moulded plastic parts for automotive customers at our Woodstock, Alabama facility.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Quality Systems Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with Technicians on specific projects in order to obtain a clear definition of details of nonconformance for any injection moulded plastic parts
• Format all analyzed data into documents suitable for submission to customers and for presentation in house to senior engineering management.
• Create a clear definition of customer expectations for each product within the defined scope of responsibility for each project.
• Ensure that components of the injection moulded plastic parts meet the defined and agreed specification through hands on audit at point of manufacture. Identify and issues, develop countermeasures and track measures to completion and/or escalation to the management.
• Ensure there is a smooth transition from the development phase to the introduction of components for manufacturing at the plant.
• Liase with customer supplier quality representatives to ensure that any issues that arise are quickly rectified through the determined countermeasures.
Quality Systems Engineer Qualifications and Requirements
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Electronics Engineering or its foreign educational equivalent
