Job Description
BILINGUAL SANITATION CREW MEMBER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Sanitation Crew Member for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will support all sanitation needs of this GMP facility including general cleaning, janitorial, offices and machinery. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position.
Pay rate
$16.00 per hour
Shifts and Schedules
Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am
Sanitation Crew Member Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all work areas including industrial ovens following GMP standards
- Maintain familiarity and abide by all precautions for cleaning chemical use, as outlined
- Material Safety Data Sheets
- Follow sanitation checklist for cleaning / sanitizing all equipment, and the work area within assigned department / departments
- Immediately report observations of damaged equipment to supervisor / department head
- Cross-train to conduct sanitation procedures in other areas / departments, as necessary
- Communicate hazards (slippery floors, etc.) to coworkers and visitors entering work area
Sanitation Crew Member Skills and Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a MUST
- Signoff and understand all GMP standards
- Lift up to 45lbs maximum (in office assessment will be conducted)
- Work in hot environments and lots or walking
- Prior production or food experience is a plus
- Background check and drug screen required
