Second Shift MRO Inventory Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a meticulous MRO Inventory Specialist to support our client in managing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and indirect materials in their customer supply room. This position is based in Winston Salem, NC and plays a critical role in maintaining seamless inventory and sourcing operations for our client's maintenance and engineering departments.
Pay Rate
$18.50 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
MRO Inventory Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Fulfills and sources MRO/Indirect material requests in the customer supply room.
- Acts as a liaison between customer maintenance, engineering teams, and vendors.
- Searches for materials using part numbers, manufacturer numbers, and commodity types.
- Conducts cycle counts and investigates inventory discrepancies.
- Processes inventory adjustments, transfers, and verifies incoming shipments.
- Maintains a clean, safe work environment and supports continuous improvement efforts.
MRO Inventory Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with material numbers, part specifications, and inventory control experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in-person and electronically.
- Proficient in multitasking, time management, and computer skills, including Excel, Word, and warehouse inventory systems (SAP is a plus).
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of MRO materials and machine parts.
