Second Shift Tooling Technician
Automation Personnel Services is seeking skilled Second Shift Tooling Technician for a manufacturing company in Ball Ground, GA. This position is essential in supporting tooling, die systems, PileClaw operations, and additional related job duties to meet production demands efficiently. Automation Personnel Services is seeking skilled Second Shift Tooling Technician for a manufacturing company in Ball Ground, GA. Pay Rate
$21.00 per hour, could increase based on experience

Schedule and Hours
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Mondays through Fridays
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Mondays through Fridays
*must be able to train on first shift*
Second Shift Tooling Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform die cleaning, repairs, inspections, and offline maintenance based on production priorities
• Assist with PileClaw fabrication and quality control tasks, ensuring timely production and functionality
• Track and document all Tooling and PileClaw work using the maintenance software system
• Complete preventative maintenance on tooling equipment and perform repairs when necessary
• Conduct welding tasks (MIG, TIG, and Aluminum) to support tooling and PileClaw needs
• Communicate and collaborate with Maintenance, Shift Leads, and Production teams to meet operational goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety and housekeeping protocols
• Complete weekly audits and update performance logs, including die work and modification tracking
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Second Shift Tooling Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in tool & die work, welding, or metal fabrication
• Previous experience working with PileClaw systems required
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and perform precision welding tasks
• Proficiency in basic computer functions and documentation
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Must pass a background check and lifting assessment (up to 75 lbs)
