Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Security Officer for a company based in Hammond, LA. Security Officer Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrols indoors and outdoors to ensure that security standards are met and maintained. 

• Confronts unauthorized persons. 

• Adheres to and enforces hospital security, traffic, and parking policies and procedures. 

• Observes and reports unsafe conditions and any unusual conditions. Example: malfunctioning of air conditioning/heating, plumbing, or electrical systems. 

• Assists patients, visitors, and staff as directed. 

• Escorts personnel to and from vehicles upon request. 

Security Officer Qualifications and Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED 

• You'll need to be physically capable of performing the duties of a security officer, which may include standing, walking, and lifting. 

• You'll also need to be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing. 

• Requires the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially when dealing with difficult situations.
