Shipping and Receiving Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Shipping/ Receiving Associate for a company based in Stafford, Texas (Southwest). In this role, you will primarily be responsible for completing shipments by processing and unloading orders. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Looking for someone who is ambitious and a hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions. Someone who is detailed oriented on the job must follow instructions precisely and double check on the work before completing tasks.
Pay Rate
$16.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Long hours based on production needs)
Shipping/Receiving Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders.
• Pulling material and packaging orders in an orderly manner and prepare carton/creates for shipping.
• Receive merchandise for return or delivery and very contents.
• Count and stick merchandise based on inventory log.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstation.
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Placing orders in delivery area.
• Other duties assigned by warehouse lead or supervisor.
Shipping/Receiving Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift Certification a plus.
• 2-3 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to work on foot and carry heavy objects.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Professional attitude and experience.
• Multitasking, time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
