Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Automation Personnel Services is hiring energetic and dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a warehouse in the Concord area, Bilingual is a plus. You'll be responsible for checking in truck drivers who are delivering their shipments. Entering data into spreadsheets from invoice forms, updating management and the warehouse team, and updating live scheduling links throughout the day. If you can perform these tasks for an 8-hour shift, appreciate the value of a good day’s work, and are ready to take on this challenge, we want to talk to you!
Weekly pay! Start immediately!
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 15 pounds
- Safely communicate with management, warehouse associates, and the truck drivers through phone calls, emails, and in person
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by following established procedures for tidiness and safety
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, including accurately documenting incoming and outgoing materials
- Manage schedules ensuring timely completion and adherence, manage schedules in live time ensuring accurate arrival and departure times, document and maintain all files
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to read, writ and understand Spanish is a plus
- Dependability and ability to arrive on time are essential, must have reliable transportation
- Must pass an in-office lifting assessment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate in business management or related field preferred, but not required
