Shop Hand
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shop Hand for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with various tasks around the shop, including material handling, equipment maintenance, and general labor.
Pay Rate
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Shop Hand Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with general shop tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the workspace.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with the assembly and disassembly of products and equipment
• Help with the maintenance and repair of shop machinery and tools.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist in shipping and receiving duties as needed.
Shop Hand Qualifications and Requirements
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools..
• Previous experience in an industrial or shop environment is preferred but not required..
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team..
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [insert weight]) and perform physical tasks..
