Job Description
Perishable Clerk
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Perishable Clerk to join a dynamic team located in Bessemer Al. This position comes with growth potential—you will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of perishable goods handling, inventory rotation, and customer service that will help you advance your career in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

$15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
- Monday – Sunday: Start time between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM until shift completion
- Scheduled Days Off: Saturday and one additional weekday (varies)
Perishable Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and organize a pouch station for filing credits and bills for transportation delivery pouches.
Recording seals on seal track list and filing them.
Posting selectors daily averages each day.
Transferring all necessary paper material to neighboring department (Grocery department) in a timely manner.
Clerks must be acclimated to ENGAGE system, to METHODICCALLY Execute.
Perishable Clerk Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for inventory tracking, reporting, and communication.
1+ year of experience in a grocery, retail, or warehouse environment preferred.
