Utility Aide Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare foods for service
• Prepare foods for service
• Serve food
• Clean up after completion of food service
• Follows established practices and procedures for patient diet identification and service
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor
Utility Aide Qualifications and Requirements
• Proficiency in a food service environment
• Proficiency in a food service environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling.
• Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
