Hazmat Driver / Operator

  
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Hazmat Driver / Operator for a company based in Pasadena, TX. In this role, you will drive Nitrogen and ISO/ Chassis and will also do some manual work as an operator.   

Pay Rate
$28.00 - $36.00 per hour  

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm Lots of overtime!  

Hazmat Driver / Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization
• Drive trucks / trailers 2 – 6 times a month to (mostly) short haul destinations, then drive back to shop  

• Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly  

• Able to perform manual work such as moving 2” and 4” hoses around to set up a job   

• Experience with pressure systems, valves, flare systems and vaporizers  

Hazmat Driver / Operator Qualifications and Requirements  
• TWIC card   

• Hazmat License preferably   

• Valid Class C Driver's License  
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.  

• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check, and drug screen
