Valve Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a direct hire Valve Technician for a company based in Canton, GA. This company in Canton produces high-quality engineered products and is looking for an employee to grow with their company through this fantastic opportunity. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for serving, inspecting, and repairing valves and other related duties.
Pay Rate
$25-30 per hour based on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Valve Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, calibrate, and perform service maintenance on various types of valves.
- Detect, diagnose, and repair valve issues and malfunctions accurately.
- Work with low voltage systems.
- Ensure valves are properly installed for specific applications.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of products as needed.
- Work in compliance with all OSHA standards and guidelines.
Valve Technician Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience calibrating industrial valves and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Drug screening and background check are required.
