Warehouse Mechanic
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Warehouse Mechanic for a company based in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidates will strive to provide excellent customer service to our clients and their guests while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness.
Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Sunday- Friday (Every Saturday and one other day during the week off)
3 pm – 3 am
Warehouse Mechanic and Responsibilities
- Maintains, repairs, and conducts preventative maintenance on material handling and building equipment safely and efficiently.
- Utilizes established PM and repair policies and procedures to return equipment to fully operational status.
- Read and understand technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) to repair/maintain equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible.
- Work as a team member with operations and other technicians to support the facility in repairing and maintaining equipment.
Warehouse Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be able to bring own equipment to location
- Over 21 years of age
- 3 years of experience as a mechanic with light-duty vehicles, forklifts, etc.
- Certified Mechanic preferred but not required (Example:ASC certified)
