Shipping Receiving Clerk
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping Receiving Clerk for a company based in Houston, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for managing the flow of materials in and out of the facility, including receiving incoming shipments, preparing and processing outgoing orders, and accurately issuing parts and materials to the maintenance team through work orders.

Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30pm.

Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspect, receive, and confirm incoming shipments, ensuring alignment with purchase orders or delivery documents.
• Provide the maintenance team with parts, tools, and materials based on work orders, maintaining accurate documentation of transactions.
• Perform routine cycle counts and contributes to inventory reconciliation processes.
• Update inventory records within ERP or warehouse management systems, ensuring data accuracy.
• Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean and organized, including maintaining shelves, bins, and workstations.
• Operate forklifts or other equipment to assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks as required.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the relevant team members promptly.
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1 to 3 years in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
• Proficient in issuing items on orders and managing inventory systems.
• Basic computer proficiency with experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, EAM).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook (preferred).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with fluent proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
