Warehouse Team Member
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Warehouse Team Members for a company based in Kennesaw, GA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing an array of duties such as loading and unloading delivery trucks, moving and storing materials/products, and other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, overtime may be mandatory
Warehouse Team Members' Duties and Responsibilities
• Receives incoming product shipments and compares vendor inventory sheets or purchase orders for accuracy and inventory control using a handheld scanner.
• Update inventory through data entry of product information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers to unload products.
• Move product from staging area to truck using warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, or two-wheeled cart.
• Precools cargo area of truck to company specifications prior to loading product.
• Complete load verification with handheld scanner in preparation for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Assists drivers where needed with pre-departure checks.
• Secures load within cargo area of truck using load bars or straps.
• Maintain a safe work area through general housekeeping.
Warehouse Team Members' Qualifications and Requirements
• Warehouse or production experience and electric pallet jack experience required.
• Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory control.
• Comfortable working in all temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
• Willing to work during any shift which may be scheduled anytime during a 24-hour day, over any 7-day period.
• Understand and practice safety policies and procedures.
• Lifting assessment completed in office.
• Drug screening and background checks required.
