Warehouse Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working entry-level warehouse technician responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.
Pay Rate
$16.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
(Hours are based on production needs)
Saturdays as needed.
Warehouse Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Making sample pellets.
• Operating Rotex (as needed).
• Assisting with general warehouse duties.
• Ability to follow prioritized instructions and stay organized.
• Commitment to working in a safe manner at all times.
• Open communication with supervisors and team members.
• Willingness to provide assistance to others as business needs necessitate.
• Adaptability to new processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
• Proactivity in developing skills for effectiveness in current or future roles.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor.
Warehouse Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• 6 months of experience working in a manufacturing lab or a similar environment.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to use a calculator and stopwatch.
• Ability to use a PC/computer, calculator, scale, and gauges.
• Ability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for 8-12 hours per day.
• Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Moderate physical activity, as required by the production environment.
• Exposure to outdoor elements, weather conditions, and dust.
