WAREHOUSE AND YARD ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Heavy Lifting Warehouse Worker for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining the warehouse and yard facilities, organize inventory, and assist with loading and unloading of products.
Pay Rate
$16.00 to $17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Warehouse and Yard Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain warehouse and yard facilities in a clean and organized manner.
• Responsible for interacting professionally with customers and coworkers and assisting drivers with deliveries.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking products and conducting inventory counts.
• Load and unload products, including heavy items.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties, and communicate any order discrepancies to inside salesmen.
• Assist drivers with proper loading and routing of deliveries, and maintain driver records such as delivery tickets and fuel receipts.
• Keep the yard cleaned and organized, and ensure all drivers are operating trucks and forklifts in a safe manner.
• Comply with all safety rules and company policy and procedures.
Warehouse and Yard Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• 4 years or more of warehouse and shipping experience
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Forklift experience preferred
• Great customer service skills
• Willing to work in all elements and inclement weather if needed
