Job Description

Welders - Mig, Tig and Stick Welding 

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Mig, Tig, and Stick Welders to work for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this job, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a fast-growing manufacturer of screw presses. 

Pay Rate 
$19.00- $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
 
Schedule and Hours 
6:00 AM- 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays 6:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
 
Welders - Mig, Tig and Stick Welding Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Read work orders and blueprints to complete weldments.
  • Performs MIG, STICK, and TIG welding. 
  • Flame-cutting using gas and electric welding equipment with minimum supervision.
  • Regulate current and voltage for proper fusion of metals and select electrode type and size
  • Fabricates products by cutting, burning, and welding various metals. 
  • Assemble and weld aluminum, copper, and metal parts
  • Ensuring the quality of metal parts before assembling them, reading and interpreting blueprints, and observing safety procedures.
  • Will operate the following equipment: Forklift, brake press, sheer, plate roller, hydraulic press, and welders.
Welders - Mig, Tig and Stick Welding Qualifications and Requirements 
  • 2+ years of welding experience Mig, Tig, and Stick is required. 
  • Personal Welding PPE is required for the welding test.
  • Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and copper required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Background check and Drug Screen required
  • Ability to work in a non-airconditioned environment
  • Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift and lift up to 55 pounds consistently 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
