Pay Rate
$22 to $30 per hour [Competitive salary based on experience]
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Must be available for out-of-town travel for extended periods.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform TIG, stick, and combo welding tasks according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain welding equipment in good condition and ensure proper usage.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and troubleshoot welding issues, making necessary adjustments to equipment and techniques.
- Complete welding tasks efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Document work performed, including daily reports and progress updates.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be willing to travel out-of-town for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Welder in the construction industry.
- Proven experience as a Welder in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in TIG, stick, and combo welding techniques.
- Valid welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform welding tasks in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
